SECTION 13 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WARRANTY

ENGINE WARRANTY

Crankshaft, engine block, cylinder head, and valve train are all included. Engine-related parts and accessories. The warranty does not cover wear and tear on some parts (such as the water pump, injector system, exhaust, chain, coils, thermostats, flywheel, and induction system).

Components are covered by a standard warranty of 3 months or 5,000 miles (Bronze). You can get an extended guarantee if you want. Take a look at our Extended warranty details down below.

There is a 30-day/5,000-kilometer parts-only guarantee on any vehicle that has been used for fleet, taxi, government, or limo service (limo/Uber, etc.).

The seller has the option to either replace or repair the item under this warranty. Towing, on-the-spot roadside assistance, hotel stays, and related expenses are not included.

Before installing, make sure that the rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket have all been replaced. The warranty doesn’t cover problems with the seals and gaskets on the outside of the product.

Any damages resulting from misuse, abuse, poor installation, or inappropriate maintenance are not covered by the guarantee.

Each of the provided motors also comes with its own Sunshine Wreckers heat tab. In the event of a warranty claim, the consumer must produce proof that the heat tab is unmelted and unbroken. The melting point of the thermal tab is 127 degrees Celsius. Removal or melting of the heat tab will void the warranty.

Engine failure or defects attributable to overheating and/or insufficient maintenance are not covered by the warranties.

Installation by an authorised service centre or technician is required for warranty coverage. All components returned under warranty must be in resalable condition. If the parts have been modified, disassembled, or tampered with in any way, the warranty provided by Sunshine Wrecking is null and void.

For all Gold and Platinum warranty claims, the most you’ll have to pay for labour is $250 (including GST). Labor rates will be determined using resources like the Times Guide and data from dealers. Sunshine Wrecking does not cover the expense of removing the old part, thus it is up to the installer to make sure everything is in working order. The Warranty Manager of Sunshine Wrecking must approve any claims that involve labour in advance.

If the part is fitted on a vehicle that is utilised in racing, other competitive activities, or extreme off-roading, the warranty will be null and void.

If a warranty claim is denied by Sunshine Wrecking, for example because the buyer was partly to blame for the breakdown, Sunshine Wrecking may ask the buyer to cover the costs of reviewing the claim, which could include shipping, disassembly, and inspection.

Only the first buyer will be covered by this warranty. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser listed on the invoice.

The purchase date, not the installation date, is the beginning of the warranty period.

If you want your warranty to be legitimate, you need to keep track of when and where you had parts installed.

WARRANTY FOR TRANSMISSION

When installing a transmission, it is the buyer’s responsibility to replace the radiator and/or transmission oil cooler, clean the transmission oil cooling lines, fill the differential, adjust shifter mechanisms, swap out filters, seals, and pan gaskets, as well as reset or swap out computer codes. Any loss or harm brought on by a failure to replace such equipment is not covered by either warranty.

Standard (Bronze) warranty on parts is 3 months or 5000 KMS.

The guarantee on parts for a vehicle utilised in a fleet, taxi, government, or limo service (Uber, limo, etc.) is 30 days or 5000 kilometres.

Any warranty conditions will not apply to transmissions, differentials, or final drive components with damaged gears or that have been misused.

On Gold and Platinum warranty claims, a labour rate of no more than $250 (incl. GST) is required. To establish established times for labour charges, publications like times guides and dealer information will be consulted. Sunshine Wrecking will not be responsible for the manpower expenses associated with removal; thus, the part must be examined before installation. All labour claims require prior authorization from the Warranty Manager at Sunshine Wrecking.

Parts that are being exchanged under warranty must be complete. If any parts have been modified, disassembled, or otherwise tampered with by a person not authorised by Sunshine Wrecking, the guarantee is null and void.

The guarantee will be void if the component is installed on a vehicle utilised for extreme off-roading, racing, or other competitive activities.

Only installations made by authorised workshops or technicians are covered by the warranty.

In the event that Sunshine Wrecking rejects a warranty claim, such as when the buyer is found to have contributed to the failure, Sunshine Wrecking reserves the right to recover out-of-pocket costs incurred in reviewing the claim, such as freight and or dismantling and inspection costs, and Sunshine Wrecking may retain the money the buyer has paid for those out-of-pocket costs.

Only the person who purchased the part is eligible for this warranty. The guarantee is exclusive to the original purchaser whose name appears on the invoice and is not transferable.

The warranty begins to apply from the day of purchase, not the day it is installed.

To ensure that the warranty is genuine, please make sure that all components installation paperwork are kept.
